In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Executive Women’s Club has made the difficult choice to cancel the annual “Baubles & Beads” event scheduled for October 2020.  Our concern for the well-being of our cancer survivors in attendance as well as the impact of the recent shutdown on small businesses led us to this difficult decision.

We will be back for our 20^th year of “Baubles & Beads” to be held on Saturday, October 16^th, 2021 at the Hill Country Youth Event Center and we can’t wait to see everyone again!

We wish to thank everyone who helped make our 2019 “Baubles and Beads” first evening event a huge success.  The funds raised have been able to provide for the local Breast Cancer Assistance Fund, the Hope Fund, The Big Hug, gas card initiative and our scholarship program all made possible because of the generous support of underwriters, sponsors and individuals in our community who support our organizational mission and event goals. We simply cannot express our appreciation to all of our past underwriters and sponsors, and we fervently hope you will continue to support our event through sponsorship next year. Your generosity helps physicians detect disease through mammography, supports patients as they become survivors and sends promising young women to college.

The financial burden of fighting cancer still remains. Our Breast Cancer Assistance Fund and the Hope Fund help with the cost of treatment, medications, and mammograms.  The financial need has actually increased as many are unemployed and potentially have lost access to health insurance.

In lieu of our annual event we are seeking donations for our Breast Cancer Assistance Fund and the Hope Fund.  Our other initiatives for patients include our gas card program and The Big Hug.  The gas card program helps patients with travel expenses to medical appointments.  The Big Hug provides personal blankets for use during treatment.
