EWC Scholarship

Requirements

The Kerrville Executive Women’s Club will once again offer a $4,000.00 scholarship in 2024, renewable annually for four years if recipient criteria are met.  Our scholarship is open to current senior high school girls that are enrolled in an accredited Kerr County High School.  This scholarship will be paid twice during the year at $2,000.00 per semester. We will only choose one recipient for this scholarship.  It is important that each applicant carefully fills out this application and furnishes The Executive Women’s Club of Kerrville with all information that is requested.  Below is a list of everything that needs to be included with application.

Please attach a brief paragraph of future goals.
Write a brief explanation of why you desire this scholarship
Enclose a signed and sealed copy of your transcript with SAT or ACT scores.
Enclose a picture of yourself.

Scholarship applications must be received by Donna Bueche no later than 4-21-2024. Scholarships must be mailed directly to Donna or turned into your school’s counselor by the deadline date.

Class of 2022 Tivy High School Valedictorian, Paige Foster, was selected as the recipient of this years scholarship.  Paige will be attending A&M University in College Station majoring in Business Administration/ Accounting.

Maegan Monje

Maegan Monje

Center Point High School

Class of 2020 graduate Maegan Monje awarded scholarship.  Maegan is ranked #2 in her graduating class at Center Point High School.  She plans to attend the University of Texas San Antonio in the Fall majoring in Marketing/Graphic Design.  Described by her school counselor as a hard worker with a desire to earn a degree to better herself.  She is the first female in her family to attend college.

Tivy High School

Anna is one of eight children of Kerri & Mitchell Lockwood. Anna ranks 38th out of 327 seniors. Anna will be attending Texas State University in San Marcos where she plans on majoring in Exercise & Sports Science: Pre-Rehabilitation. Anna would like to earn a teaching certificate so she can teach at the high school level. Upon receiving her BS she would like to attend Graduate School and earn a Masters in Athletic Training and to teach Anatomy and Physiology. Anna was thrilled to receive Executive Women’s Scholarship as she is responsible for paying her own way through college.

Emily Newby

Tivy High School

2018 scholarship recipient, Emily Newby. Emily is a graduate of Tivy High School.  She is the daughter of Angie Newby and Ted Newby.  Emily will be  attending Texas A&M and plans to study meteorology.  While at Tivy, Emily was a member of the National Honor Society, PALS (Peer Assistance Leaderships) and Culinary Arts.  Emily’s community service included: Hurricane Harvey relief, Chalk Festival, Early Childhood Center Carnival, and NHS library tutoring.

Ingram Tom Moore High School

2017 scholarship recipient, Kendall Jensen. Kendall was the Salutatorian at Ingram Tom Moore High School. She is the daughter of Jennifer Christiansen. She is planning on attending Baylor University studying Pre-Neuroscience. Her activities include: National Honor Society, Student Council, Class Officer, Interact Club, Key Club, Thespian Club, Varsity Tennis, Varsity Volleyball, One Act Play and Fall Show.
